Brass Compression Tube Fittings: In small sizes, the compression fitting is composed of an outer compression nut and an inner compression ring or ferrule (sometimes referred to as an "olive") that is typically made of brass or copper or steel. Ferrules vary in shape and material but are most commonly in the shape of a ring with beveled edges.
Brass Double Ferrules Tube Fittings: They are formed by a body with a seat for tubing, two compression ferrules and one lock nut. The hermetical union of the tube to the fitting body is made by means of the 2 ferrules pressure upon the tube when pressed by the nut.
